You can see how i replaced all the selenium rectifiers in this writeup --> http://radionerds.com/index.php/AN%7EGRR-5 .
The diodes to replace the ones in the case are not that large at all, they don't take much juice, actually they are quite small. Remember to just remove the ones from the...

Fred,
Ok , i remember i had the same question about the display and read about the first digit somewhere, don't remember where. I'll add a section to the Wiki page to clarify it for any future users.
I ended up building my own rechargeable battery pack for mine, and its been great...

watermark the pictures yourself with photoshop, make them relatively low resolution (but useful), but know that there is NOTHING you can do to stop it... lawyers will make lots of money filing cease and desist letters for you, but its like playing whack-a-mole..
PERSONALLY.. i have many many...
Thats pretty awesome! The more these are distributed the less likely someone will feel they can make money selling digital copies on fleabay...
They are provided as Creative commons, use at will for non-commerical purposes... so enjoy!! if you have any problems or special requests, let me...
Tankie88,
Im the owner of Radionerds and maintain the PS magazine archive.. What application are you using to view and print from? this has the most impact on the quality of the output.
We are doing nothing specifically to limit printing, saving downloading or anything. so it should be...
In all fairness, the radio shack number isn't a "spec" its only their catalog number. The Term(s) to search google for is "1N5404" or "3 AMP General Purpose Diode". As long as its at LEAST a 3 amp or GREATER Diode then your fine. You can order them by the bushel from Digikey, and they are...
Hey all, I'm still scanning PS Magazines for the archive at http://psmag.radionerds.com and I found some articles that were interesting for CUCV's. not to worry, i'm parsing them all to drag out the cool nuggets like this for all technology, so there will be more to come.
Make the Custom tool...
I have a 1984 M1009, it has the older style wheel bearing bolts. (see image) I am missing one, can the later style bolts be used as a replacement? or do i need to find the original style?
IMO,
you have to think about electronic postings he same as the tried and true "bulletin board notice" where someone leaves a note with a number. Then the communications take place outside of the governorship of SS. Which is what you want. There are a couple points to reinforce this..

I rebuilt my shelter from the metal up, especially with AC you will want to get a good handle on the integrity of everything, usually its surface mounted, but sometimes in the walls. I would carefully take it down to the walls, you will want to inspect and possibly reinsulate it. i have seen...
There is logic behind the numbering, although its often hard to see why certain things are classified the way they are. I researched this some time ago and published an overview, there are some docs on it around..

Ok now go one step backward to before the fuel filter and see if its the same flow rate. did they bypass the mechanical lifter pump when they installed the electric lifter?
Full of fuel, yes.. that sucks, however, you need to do the sock anyway, better now than on the roadside somewhere...
its a fuel volume issue from a restriction of some type. I would check the returns, fuel filters including the sock in the tank as mentioned. If you've done any work lately make sure you didnt kink any lines.
The lifter pump is electric instead of mechanical?
you say it dies, does it die under load or also when in P or N and reved up?
Does it die when you goose it?
Hey all here is DA Pamphlet 750-33 "Charging System Troubleshooting (The Easy Way)" December 1976
