My l/h front wheel and the forward left rear were dong the same thing. I thought it was gear oil but the I pulled the hub, it was apparent that the wheel cylinders had started leaking. What I'm doing is installing new cylinders on the front, and taking the best of the remaining six and will...
Well about a week & a half ago I posted the problem that I was having.
I finally got around to having weather that I could work in and no longer having to pick up limbs from the last Hurricane here in Loose-my-banana.
I purchased a 200 psi water well gauge for a very temporary test on my engine...
I sent a PM to the person asking this question.
Here are the pages for the front and rear axles in case anyone else needs the same information.
"Bolt, ribbed shoulder" is what you need, 6 each per wheel.
:D

A while back I picked up my truck and the oil pressure was pegged out to the max side.
When you turn power on the gauge is at Zero. When the engine is started, it eventually goes to about 60 psi or so and the pegs out.
In my trouble shooting, I pulled the instrument panel down to check the...
I looked at the cross reference and I know that the dealers have them, but has someone recently purchased a wheel cylinder from a local auto parts store for the M35 series trucks?
I have one that has a bad static leak so I purchased two new cylinders and four rebuild kits from one of our...
I'm not usre why anyone would need a CDL for something that is not-commercial and probably does not even meet DOT spec which makes it definetly not commercial.
They do not have air brakes, they are hydraulic but with air- assist just as some have air-assist steering. The truck will stop without...
Nice looking truck. The monster is emerging from it's shell and looks to be ready for duty. Enjoy it as much as you can. It may keep you awake at night by calling your name out loud, saying "drive me, drive me". Ha Ha
Along those lines, does anyone know where to find a new Moustache Spring...
Talk about a load of really ripe BULL SH&T!!!
That ordinance is not legal. This is a violation of your civil liberties and pursuit of happiness as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.
I can not have a voice in it since I don't live there but I would have everyone that signed this ordinance...
I agree..it is your truck and if you can afford it, drive it.
I have an M35A2C too but I have been driving my M1009 CUCV since Nov 1995 EVERY day and I have even driven it to see my parents a few times that are 950 miles away from me.
No A/C which really su$k$ but I have survived without it for...
Recovering a duece off base
Most states require liability insurance as a minimum.
I would advise EVERYONE getting a 2 or 3 day rider on their regular insurance policy to drive you rtruck home. Generally it is free because they want to buy a policy from them when you are ready.
To get on most...
NAPA is all 12 volt so I will get one from Saturn.
They have them under "Heater Blower Motor".
Thanks to all who responded as I missed this on the first look at Saturn last night.

Has anyone been able to cross the heater blower motor to a civilian supplier or find a replacement unit that was new?
This this is the "hot water heater as it is called that is mounted on the left fender used for cab heat.
Thanks,
Jim
I received my SF-97 today along with the re-assignment form, and the bill of sale from G.L. to me.
This was done with them having the request from me for only one week and a total of two weeks including snail-mail time.

Here are the two instruction plates for the drop side bed.
One on the tail gate (centered) and one on each side of the bed but they are at the forward end and all three are riveted on and not stuck on placards.

Jake0147, and others.
Here are fours pics of my newly purchased M35A2C.
I added two other pics even thought these were not mentioned because I was standing there to take one of the drop-side plate.

Jim
There have been several threads on replacement seats.
Can someone post a picture or two (or three) of the seats that come in the Hemmett?
Please??
Thanks in advance,
Jim
Makes srue that your battery cables are insulated so they will not short out against the frame or any other metal objects or to each other.
Otherwise you will be welding whether you want to or not.

This tool was in my truck that I picked up on Monday along with a 8 ton bottle jack.
The tool is stamped: 10508 Ken-Tool USA
I googled the tool and there are very similar Ken-Tool tools like this
but not by this part number. It has the 1 1/2" hex on the lower end and the 3/4" square on...
