Actually believe it or not, stopped by Hobbytown on the way home this afternoon-they have a TON of military vehicle books (lotsa pictures). They actually had this book in stock....now I can't wait to finish the M52A2.
Soon I'll be driving mine about 90 miles to Tower Park, that's about the furthest I take mine on the highways. Now logging trails are a different story.
I saw that truck at the Big Bear event about four maybe five years ago. Awesome is putting it lightly, that thing was just friggin unreal. I see why the guy didn't drive it very much, when he almost backed over my tent I could tell he had no idea how to use the mirrors or no idea what a ground...
Hey, the book that's pictured in that Ebay listing.....if anyone knows where to get a copy I'd sure like to know. I've been looking for it for quite a while now and haven't been able to find it again.
you are referring to the hot little blonde right and not that,....well whatever IT was LOL :freaked: Hope blondie still works there :hop: We're gonna miss ya this year, but if ya can sneak out somehow the ice chest will definitely be full...for a while anyhow :scool:
Looks great Lance, sorry we didn't get to hook up but that pass ain't fun in the snow...especially with the gay bay weekend traffic YUCK. See ya at Tower Park ....
Yeah, I gotta, there's a whole lot of people that would be mad if I missed it. Last time I missed an event I spent days on the phone explaingin why I couldn't make it. Deuce is already loaded up and ready to go......
I used to get a lot of good trucks out of Ft. Cartoon, and DRMO there was always good to deal with. I moved just after GL took over but the folks in the yard there were always good to deal with....altough I did see them drop a deuce that was headed to Boyce off the forklift. Did you know a M35...
You're going to have to take the piece in the third picture, stick it in a vice with the threaded end down. Take a hammer and a punch (probably a 3/8" diameter punch) and drive it out. It is a tight fit, might help to soak it with some penetrating oil. That's a wedge and when tightened is what...
I had a TON of the kits years ago. They are handy but it seems the seals in the hand pumps fail quite frequently so you end up with washer fluid on your hand instead of the windshield.
It seems to me that the Seebee green is a bit darker than the Marine Corps green as well. However, the few actual true Seabee vehicles that I've seen in person it's kinda hard to judge...it's not everyday you see a Seebee rig.
Sorry fellas, ain't gonna make it today..we came up yesterday for the gun show....not a fun drive. Snow from Nevada City all the way to Robb Drive!!! :nono:  On the way home they stopped us in Truckee and were closing the road (about 9PM), if it weren't for my buddy's badge they...
Hi Kenny, yes I did thank you very much! I forgot to tell you they came, I get forgetful having this dang job I'm at now.....but tomorrow is my last day, back to making real money and having more time at my other job!!
We went to that place one time when I lived out there, man they used to have a ton of stuff. Think I'll make a stop by there in May or July when I come out.
