I just have a latex glove stetched over the end of mine. Flies oh about 6" or so and lands under the battery box. When I back the truck back in I know just where to look.
You'll have to search but they're in there. At the top of the page is a link to "Resources" and under it the TMs are listed. Steel Soldiers :: Military Vehicles Supersite
You need to start reading TMs before you do anything else with that truck. Someone could get hurt or killed with your lack of knowledge on a truck this big. Not trying to be a jerk, but its the truth.
Doesn't sound like a miss. Does the truck vibrate when just sitting still like it has a miss? If you have 1 of your 6 cylinders not firing you will probably notice it due to vibration. You might check you J-pipe over for a hole if anything, my truck had a hole in the J-pipe and once I welded...

Read through all of this thread and most of your questions will be answered.

Also try to use the search function, this is a well covered topic
Its all in the design of the engine. We used to have a Deutz 7085 tractor on the farm so I know what your talking about. Might have something to do with the compression ratios as well??????
There is more to it than that (crashes/near crashes) otherwise all motor vehicles would be banned in WI. Probably is part of the discussion over there, but not the root cause by any means.
