Leave the feed tube fittings slightly loose on all the injectors and crank the engine over a few times. When you see fuel at the fittings tighten them up.You can do it solo.

Plan on having the heads resurfaced if they are not cracked. Left head and right head are interchangable. Just swap out coolant block off plates on the back. Plan on intake gasket set, ex manifold gaskets and ex donuts, water crossover gaskets (same as block off plate gasket) have ex manifolds...

Mine had almost the same sound. Pulled both heads because of water in the oil, left head had a bad crack, got a new one to replace it and right side had to bad valves which were replaced with 2 good ones from the leftt side. and all the rest were remachined. Not back together yet.

Welcome. The starter can be rebuilt at any good shop that repairs starters as well as the alternators. You should be able to finf a standyne shop for the pump. glow plugs from indusa on ebay. pretty much everything else I have had good luck at Napa.

Wellman 70's are glowplugs. I just had my injectors rebuilt but cannot say if they are long or short, fine or corse they are stock. I have never read where they are refered to in your discription.

I'm pretty sure the card is in it the gray area is the card. and it looks like the cap is on it. I Think BOT is starting trouble.

same here, 4 quarts makes a gallon and his first post sayes he put in 7 and half qts.

Thats almost what it cost to have mine rebuilt. I'm not a diesel pro but my neighbor is and he told me not to rebend or kink the feed tubes.

Put antifreeze in the bucket they drown and get pickeled so there is no odor if you don't check it for a few weeks.
