My truck currently has a D turbo. Just bought a C turbo. In my limited knowledge I thought there were only these two types but a guy I know who has been building/ restoring Deuces for some time told me there are actually three .If anyone could help me ID this new turbo I would be most greatful...

The BooBoo was thanks to some lazy guys at GL with a forklift, too bad too, the trucks body and paint are in good condition otherwise. The neighbors as a whole think its pretty cool but a couple are less than thrilled. They'll get over it.
The speedometer on my deuce doesnt work so i took cable off trans and spun it manually forward and reverse with a cordless drill but still didnt work. Will Wagner was under the dash while i was turning the cable end and said he could feel it turning. Would we be correct that speedometer is bad...

Kenneth, Yes, the right rear motor mount is bolted to the frame. What does that mean? Also found 3 31 53 stamped in axels under an unlegible tag
David, No vertical inner fenders, angled with louvers. Also no obviously covered up holes in floorboards. Only thing in floor is high beam foot...
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to remove spray paint and permanent marker that the nice guys at GL used to mark my otherwise beautiful truck? I wasnt sure what would or would'nt damage the CARC.

I am having the same problem with a "twist" and I hope you can help. I just picked up my new Deuce from G.L. in Ca. What I have found is that the VIN # was changed, by I can only guess was the Govt., as the SF97 reflects the new VIN#. There is no #'s stamped on left frame rail but...
