Thats for Fridays discussion. :-P
Better yet..........
Has anyone seen this boat on GL this week? I want to bid on it but not sure it'll fit on my trailer.
If its in the GL photos then make a claim with GL before you sign on the dotted line and haul it out of the gate.
Warning: they may simply find you a replacement, give you a refund for the amount claimed for the cap or they may cancle the whole sale.
If you want it to look military issue, order either one, 383 green or 686 tan from rapco, mask off (half assed at best) any glass, reflectors, guages and so on, and spray away. Be sure to get some over spray on the tires and taillights and it will look like you just picked it up from GL :p
And that in itself is not a smart ass comment?
If you dont want to sell it here then WTH are you doing asking about posting in the classifieds?
If your thin skinned you probably wont make it to 100 posts. If you can just let it roll off and have a sense of humor you'll fit right in.
 Do you own an MV? If you do, go out to it after dark and flip the 3lever light switch to the left. Go to the front and you'll see a faint white light coming out of that funky looking round thing with the hood on it, on the rear you'll see the faint red "cats eyes". Those are the blackout...
For those that have never done a blackout convoy, get a group together find some private property that you can use and try it out. Both fun and nerve racking at the same time.[thumbzup]
It shouldnt affect the load capacity but you'll lose alot of room for that axle to move up. I bet unloaded on a small bump you'd bottom out the frame on the axle.
What do you mean by tire spacers? You mean wheel spacers to give you a little wider wheel track? If you run it loaded often...
The dump bed will fit but the PTO drive for the pump is on the wrong side of the trans. You'll have to come up with an alternate way to power the pump. Ive seen one done with using a small gas engine mounted behind the cab to power the pump.
You must remember that if you mod it to go faster you also need to adress the brakes as well. Like most with bobbed trucks you'll end up with some larger tires, that in itself will help increase the top speed but also add more rotational mass that will be alot harder for the stock brakes to slow...
I like the idea as long as it doesnt screw with the "use" of the vehicle. I was informed by my county DMV that KS has regular antique and "Heavy" antique and with either one you can drive all you want and haul cargo without hassle.
BTT.
We may need to find another axle for combst32's trailer. He got the USPS Flat Rate envelope ( I should have used a box) I sent him but no axle. Seems it tore open and fell out somewhere between here and there.
