    sounds like a bad airpack to me. plan on a rebuild. I've seen 800's with and without vented gladhands. I doubt that is your problem. if you think it is then take the cover off and see. it's not your problem.

    the latest castings are indeed better. the old gm 6.5's had issues with #8 cylinder deck cracking. you want the latest GEP block

    yes, there is a ball valve that is bolted to the side of the transmission that needs to be repaired or replaced. mine was doing the same thing.
