yes, A0 was made up.
But then, so was everything else. At some point someone decided it was easier to call the previous generation "A0" rather than repeatedly saying "not A1" or "early version"
Until WWII came along WWI was simply known as "the great war" or other such names. It wasn't until...
yes, the standard is "if it's too good to be true, it usually is" applies to this.
You can also do searches about the website itself, you will find most of the scam sites have unusual names and have only been established for a couple months at most.
I'll stick with the big names in the game...
3 windshield glass, an oil pressure gauge, and radiator cap.
With the free shipping deal it came to about $140. I can't even get the glass locally for one piece for that (last quote I got was over $200 for one side)
I did notice in my cart it's telling me that they don't have enough of some...
Some people don't like hearing it go back and forth between fan on and off due to the change in noise level, but other than that I don't see any reason.
certainly more weather proof than a soft top, and more secure, plus has some rooftop load capability (500 lbs for mine)
Af for is it worth it, that is a personal opinion. I don't use my hard top (tall version) because I put an EOD body on my truck. The hard top is a little harder to change...
Mine had sand in them.I had the same type of issue, not worn but had enough sand/grit in them to keep them from working.
Managed to clean one of them up without damaging the plastic retainer inside too much, but replaced the other.
I checked my ebay history, part number I ordered the shoulder...
Quick google search for each of those items comes up as roughly 1100 lbs together.
engine roughly 750 lbs
Transmission roughly 250
transfer case about 100
if you do a search by the NSN and go to PARTTARGET or another site like that it will show you all of the manufacturer part numbers under that one NSN. If you can't find it under the part number in the book, sometimes it will show up under one of the other manufacturer part numbers
Hopefully it's just not seeing a 12V battery is the only issue. At least with a troubleshooting guide you can say it's definitely bad when it fails, as opposed to wondering and throwing more parts at it.
So I bid on and won a tent at auction labeled only as "extendable modular tent" on govplanet last week. Turns out it's not likely to be military surplus, but thought I'd share it here anyway.
Thought from the size it might be a small DRASH or Base-X but nope, neither of those. Turns out to be...
I like the Lexel or Dap clear sealant. They make a good seal, even to wet surfaces, and unlike silicone they can be peeled off.
I used it all around my windshield as well, both inside and out.
So as some of you know, I had the bolt holding the brake caliper bracket back out of the differential and come into contact with the ends of the halfshaft bolts sticking through the rotor.
Since I was down there anyway, I decided to take care of the oil leak I saw on that side of the...
So all I would need is a set of the heavier springs?
Just want to verify there isn't anything else I might not be aware of.
EDIT: I'm thinking I should probably identify the springs that are currently installed before I go spending money to "upgrade" them.
When in 2 man configuration I keep a scepter can or two in the rear passenger footwell area that is covered.
Only place I can think to mount a fuel can holder if you are a soft top would be against the cargo divider in the center. You lose a little cargo space, but it doesn't interfere with...
It was a USMC truck out of Yermo. As far as I could tell it had MAK armor (it was stripped down when I bought it and a lot of extra holes in the body, along with random bolts/brackets all over), and a 2010 rebuild.
