i admitt i wont want to drag it every day but, when you need a good one that would be the one. i think i could tow my XM818w/w and the M131A4 behind with out any concerns. that's piece of mind for me.

watch the pto's from winer's. when i bought one last year from them i was told it fit the 5 ton. wrong! the ones they were selling were for the duece's and not compatible with the 5 tonners. i dont think they intentionally sold me unusable parts but it wont work just the same.

the 5 tons have only one upper on each rear axel. and iirc the dueces ive been under have the same .

i have one that citizensoldier gave me. it looks just like kennys and i mounted it in the exact location as kennys. above and aft allows use while under way with out to much glare .

looks like i will need to flat tow my latest treasure about 150 miles. its a 5 ton tractor. any thing i should watch out for other than pulling the front and rear shafts off the transfer case and checking oil levels in the diffs ? i will be dragging it with my XM818. just checking as it never...

just last week my throw out bearing started to squeak. took a drill bit extension and a 1/16 " bit and put a hole in the back side of the bearing. then took a needle point grease gun and gave it a bit of lube. a little silicone to plug the hole and the band aid was applied. dont know how long it...
