transtar can get you the sonnax parts but you should get the pinions and pump parts from GM
sonnax is a brand new. Google them and you will find they make lots of hp parts for all trannies.
you should machine the entire pump. they are alum and warp with torque and heat. you will find they...
you dont need the 13 vane pump. 10 works just fine the 900hp trucks I put them in. you just need to make sure you have the pump machined (blueprinted) to the new parts.
use a 4L65E sprag. it has the sun gear pressed in.
use the 65E front and rear 5 pinion planets if you want really strong...
dunno myself. prob why there is only 2 of them.
I guess they figure if it can't haul much then why not do it comfortably. You and I both have wondered why even the std 932 without airbars has such a low rating. I think it's in error but who knows why some things are as they are. they just are.

if you were totally set on reusing the engine and the crank is indeed chewed up, your only choice is to weld it on. then you would only be able to do that once. hope like heck you never need to take it off.
my dad takes a lot of his stuff to georgia diesel on hwy5 in douglasville.
as long as the whole combo isn't over 10k your fine. but I'd be darn sure that you had additional brakes on at least 1 of the axles of the dolly or trailer.
I won't be doing the coolant heater as of yet bc I don't have one. I do have the arctic batt box and will move 2 of them to the cab like it should. Now with a pattern to make the oil pan shroud I can do that as well.
this truck is very close at a musem and won't be moving any decade any time...
