    Add an "Off-Topic" Section

Actually DH, you were more correct. Oprah was born in MS raised in TN by her "father" then went to Chicago. Springer was born overseas, moved to NY then OH. (I searched for the info, not really a fan of either)

possible to weld differential in m1009 gov lock

Complete axle even brakes. http://store.colemans.com/cart/rear-axle-assembly-chevygmc-us-gi-p-1551.html?zenid=une0j425r92sd8lu05i9gvlj31 Here's who I was thinking but they raised their prices alot since I looked last. You could also try Ted's trucks for a used one.

Why cobble it together? NOS 10 bolts are $295 complete. I even think there is one in the classifieds.

    Isn't that why there's a conversations section?

    Standard plow for a deuce?

Not origionally. I would think that unless it has some kind of steering assist, it would not be fun to use plowing for several hours.

    Collector's M35 at most recent Barrett-Jackson

Duplicate post---only thing that would have been better were 10 bolts for axles!

Pulling 2x2s out of stake pockets

The problem with posts like this is that someone with no mechanical ability that reads this stuff will try to "heat" the bed to remove the upright like you all said to do. Please when you give advise, give good tips or don't at all!aua

    New mule hauler works great

Can't you trim the fenders to get it to drive in? I think NICKD did one here on SS.

Pulling 2x2s out of stake pockets

Why even risk harming the bed when you can get them out in 10 minutes with a drill??

    New Guy with M35A2C?

Clark trucks had a special in may-25% off. I think it was like 58-59$.

    New Guy with M35A2C?

Blems are the way to go. If you put in 3 sets of batteries, i'd bet that batteries aren't the problem. My truck suddenly did the same thing in May-was starter relay.

Pulling 2x2s out of stake pockets

This will only work if they aren't broken off already (which I think his are).

Can you guys make more sense of this code?

If the engine has a Reo data plate it's a gasser. The rims should be different if origional 1100's; however, they could be mounted on standard rims and not the M34/M135 rims also. Hard to say what's been done over 60+ years without some pictures.

Pulling 2x2s out of stake pockets

I had to do this with 3 stakes. With a 3/8 inch 12" long bit it took probably 35 minutes total. It's very simple and only takes about 10 minutes a hole.

    New Guy with M35A2C?

6TL's are what origionally were in the truck (interstate/Hawker ETC) Alot of people run Optimas.

Can you guys make more sense of this code?

One way to think about it, 427's are really pretty hard to find. If anything catastrophic ever happened to it; 465's bolt right in.

    New Guy with M35A2C?

Remember in addition to the air cleaner mushroom opening that you need to block off to kill the motor, there is a small fording tube opening on the back side of the air cleaner that needs to be blocked also to kill the motor.
