Alternating green is normal. Use a multimeter to check the voltage maybe the dash gage is wrong. If you do have significant over voltage you will damage your trans ecu and other things.
I wondered about that too. Since the exhaust can go underwater and the truck still run. Wouldn't want water to get inadvertently sucked into the air box. Maybe it's some kind of a drain.
They are around. The valve housing is aluminum easy to strip the threads. Rubber piece lasts pretty well. You should take a front and rear assembly apart and put it back together to get an idea what you are dealing with.
Just take it off the wheel you are
replacing and put on the new. Good to have a generic o ring kit and make sure the hand tools you have fit the fittings. The rear wheel valve nut coming off the hub stem if you have that style needs a small
adj wrench with a wide mouth.
3126 is computer controlled. Something has to really go wrong to over rev. Sometimes
stuff just comes loose in the head, things slip to the side. I have seen it a few times in mil engines.
