You did good, even has the batteries installed. Seperate, service and charge the batteries independent of each other, make sure they will hold a load, fresh fuel, get it primed and I bet it will make power. Paint it later.
JD and Wreckman are on point, the local tire shop knocks these wheels out in no time flat and won't spring/warp the lock ring, money well spent. They even cleaned and painted the lock rings.
Tim,
A lot of hardware can be re-used in a pinch, retainers (snap rings, cotter pins, self locking nuts etc.) The military had bins of new hardware and if available, use it. The seals can be replaced from under the truck. You can sit right up under there and get it done. The aft seal is pretty...
Try Glendale Manuals, they have TMs for a lot of military equipment. Some of the latest revisions. It is worth the cost to have real paper to reference/or just thumb through.
No intank pressure pump on the early M939/A1 trucks. Engine suction feeds, Fill the filter bowl as full as you can and use the hand primer pump to pressurize the fuel manifold. While cranking the engine give it a good hot of ether. like Steve says " spray while cranking" may take a coule tries.

The straps secure the cargo bows when not in use. Do you have a copy of the operators manual for this truck? It is a MUST read for owning one of these trucks.
This will be an issue for farmers that purchase vehicles, and what I don't understand is if the EPA is all about cleaning up the environment then what do the farmers have to look forward to as the current equipment isn't regulated. I foresee DEF, regen, and other crap being mandated in tractors...
"I've got a stupid iPhone, not the best tool for research."
Hey, wait a minute, when I got my iPhone, the salesman called it a "Smart Phone"
-drive shaft would have been on the floor of the cab yesterday.
B,
Yes located at the tanks , two plugged wires to each of them. The system seeks a ground to turn on the horn. With no air pressure, horn sounds. Pull the leads on both, horn should go out. With full air pressure horn should be out (normal) if the horn is still on, disconnect one swithch at a...
Steve, you need to keep "your distance", send the neighbor kid in with the spray bombs. I got chased yesterday, cleaned a M105 cover and tossed it over the
farm truck to dry, big wasp nest in the right fender well. They'll "get it" tonight when I retrieve the cover.
