    pto will be the most $. anywhere from 100-400. 1-300 for the rest of it. also try and get the data plate for the cab floor. those are tough to find sometimes.

    FWIW I've seen a tach that looks very much like these in the M35A3's. the one in the hmmwv also didn't have a provision for back lighting.

    you got a deal but your is very different from mine. mine had a single connector that came out the back and then branched out in the truck and went to the alternator, fuel level gauge and ground.

    ya. I got a really good Idea that the entire thing is one big pile of rusty junk that is going to have to be replaced. along with anything else that holds water like trans, transfer and all the axles. take a look inside a motor that blew a head gasket and sat for a week much less was filled...

    the 80E shouldn't be running that kinda of temp. are you sure the TC is locking and your cooler is in good condition?

    I would bet that a speedy sleeve is whats going to be needed in this guys case. I do believe the holes will help as this is also what gm recommends on the 88-up 1 piece rear main motors.

    I run my deuce at red line for hours on end and have done it for years. good maint will let you do that.
