I bought a set of plates from him for my deuce winch and they looked great for about a month and then the red began to fade and now it looks like the ones I took off.
I just got my A2'a starter and I can't seem to get it in just the right position. I've dug thru the TM's and it show the solenoid on top but thats about as good as I can get. anybody have a good pic of theirs they can show?
you also have something very wrong and you need to correct it. run it that cold and you will soon have engine problems. use an old pizza box on the rad if you have to.
not quite. there are actually 2 heaters in the full on artic kit. the one for the engine routes to the oil pan shroud and the one for the cab dumps out behind the LF tire. right now I need the one for the cab heat.
I have been using that pic but it doesn't show how the exhaust is routed.
I am finishing up the install of my multifuel cab heater and I dont have any really good pics of the exhaust pipe routing. if anybody has some I'm in the need of them please post them up. also any pics of the fuel supply line and it's mounting points as it moves from the pump to the heater...
on my deuce I use the winch to get me out of where I'm at and once back home I will pull the cable and wind it properly. there is almost no way to always keep a 2deg angle on every pull.
to be honest you don't need air at all. I once drove a deuce 200 miles without air bc I didn't feel like putting the belt on. it only makes stopping easier.
I have never needed all 200ft but I always use blocks as well. I was pulling a wall last weekend and used 2 blocks. I was only about 20' away but I wanted as much pull as I could get and still stay close to the object bc I was limited in where I could park.
