Drop it in :-) The TH400 should bolt right up, and work perfect. The radiator might work, not sure on how things will line up.

Maybe more weight on the front axle?

The hardest part is the body work to fill in the back of the cab, and allow the back window to fit properly.

I agree with doghead, Bjorn, the one on the left looks like my 'Light' towbar, and the one on the right looks like his 'Medium'. I was shocked when I found out. :-) I will see if I can get a couple of pics of mine today, but they may come from the cell phone, as I think our digi cam batteries...

I think one major issue you will have is the state of CA. I know that being a 3 axle truck causes some grief right off the bat. What is the age range of the kids you will have in the back? How do seatbelt laws work in CA?

yeah, that was the joke, between that and someones desire to put a 6.2 and 700r4 in a deuce buried under the back tire of a deuce :-D actually I was able to get to it, wasnt sure where exactly the tranny was.
