Also, dont forget that one side of the M36A2 folds down, the other doesnt. And the side that folds down is "split" in the center, so it's actually 2 sections.
Check the -24P TM for pics.

All 3 listed below are the exact same part.
Bendix part # 2232693
AM Generals part # 5934071

Another useful tidbit is the Bore Diameter is 2.742 inches min and 2.747 inches max
GForce,
All the SMARPI parts have AM General part #'s cause they built the trucks (but not all the parts) This is a common thing in the military, as the prime contractor wants you to go back to them for the parts, as opposed to the real manufacturer or the parts.. And guess who's parts cost more...
There is no clear cut info on installation, because a winch was a "comes from the factory like that" type of thing.. Adding or removing a winch permantly causes a NSN change, and that creates tons of problem in the accountability world for the military.
2 VERY helpful bits of info I learned before I put a winch on my M35A2C..
First, Put a piece of plywood on the radiator so you dont put the winch thru it when your setting it in place... Failure to do so could cost you a new radiator.
Second. Dont tighten up all the bolts on the extensions...
The M105A3's have a problem with the landing legs.. They like to collapse. The Army suggests using these on the trailers.
