ebay has some good deals on pumps these days. anybody with a parts truck should be able to hook you up with the adaptor. saturn has them new for about $30.
don't know for sure I thought only the A3'a had combat wheels.
never mind. I have seen some pics of a very few very old deuces with combat wheels.
fwiw I think finding A3 wheels would be easier and cheaper. I believe they are a bit wider for larger tires.
there is a yellow 1" square sticker that goes below the red light that gets put in the gauge panel. says low air warning light. if I were home I'd take a pic for you .
austin is a fellow MV enthusiast and he posts quite a bit on the g503 board. keep checking his site as he gets new stock almost daily. you don't have to worry about him as I've spent thousands with him over the years.
You will need tow bar feet with 1" holes on both sides of it to tow a deuce...
I replaced all my truck's hoses and used all t bolt clamps. napa had them in stock. the only ones that aren't t bolt are the heater hoses. they aren't made in sizes that small.
my 818 will do 70 mph all day long with the 1600's. I got a hemet speedo adapter so mine reads right. I run about 70 in the front and about 50 in the rear. these tires are rated so high you dont need to even come close to the rated pressure they can take.
if you want to sell the fording equipment pm me or if you want to sell the truck as a whole let me know.
sounds like your winch is toast but you can still get a lot of good parts you need for the conversion. like the pto all the shifter linkage and the driveshafts.
I like to use some RTV on the cork. seems to help. use all new seal on inner and outer and torque the bearings properly. dont use a chisel to do it. you can find the right socket if you look.
I would defiantly have all the heads surfaced and pressure tested before I reinstalled them. might also be a good time to have the injectors cleaned and tested.
also be a good time to install a block heater and coolant filter.
you dont need to keep the gear oil in the diff's full up to the bottom of the hole. 1/2" down from the hole is just fine. it leaks less that way.
on the other hand if it's leaking a lot then filling it all the way will give you more time till you need to fill again.
