Ya I leave the gauge on at all times. makes it very easy to check not only the operation of the intake pump but how well it's working. thanks for the info I'll pull the intake pump tomorrow and install the suction tube.
that is what I was thinking. I was going to blow some air into it today and see if I could hear bubbles. but you have solved it. I'll pull the intake pump and hopefully be able to install the pickup tube thru that hole.
As some may know I bought a nearly complete winterization kit off ebay some time ago and I've just now been able to complete the install.
My only problem is that the fuel pump is not picking up any fuel out of the tank.

wow. those are rivets and somehow you managed to shear the bracket. I'd replace it all with something other than what you have. replace it don't repair it.

no. you are going to have to shop around to find them all. I think I have called about everytbody and I'm still lacking 1 or 2 on the dash. I have managed to find the other 6-7. memphis, seco, saturn, ebay, mvdataplates, white owl, and on and on.
nobody to my knowledge has done a clutch. the elec fan works and it's easier and I believe more reliable. it's also on my future wish list of things to do.
nope. not at all but when you have 10 or so of them sitting around it happened all the time.
