you guys were right. took my pump out and tube was not installed. installed the tube purged the air from the system and heater fired up as it should and holy cow was it HOT!!!
that is true but I'm not going for max power that this turbo can produce, if I were I'd do a 5" stack and start saving for a new motor.
put a few hundred miles on the truck this week towing around my 19.5k lb M270A1 and man she pulls so nice now even with the big tires. I can hold my speed on...
it came with the truck when I bought it. I did like it but never saw another one. I should be getting this thing back in about a year if everything goes to plan.
How much boost are you running and what is your egt? I have turned y ldt up to about 22psi of boost and still run 1200 egt preturbo. I run a water injection system.
my truck weights about 16k lbs and I have to run up thru the gears pretty quickly as it's the fastest deuce anybody in our club...
ebay is the best place to find them quickly. then you can go to g503.com then many many other places. they arent cheap and a parts truck/build one from parts is way more money in the end.
I replaced all 5 of my rubber lines just for fun. I don't like the idea of 30yr old rubber lines on a single circuit system truck that weights 25k lbs.
if you are worried about the low voltage open the manual valve on the fuel cutoff solenoid and it will pull start even without batteries. if you do have water or pooled fuel in a cylinder then you are going to have to pull an injector to get it to turn over.
how fast did you go and what gear...
saturn surplus has the brake switch and low air warning kit as a package. good deal if you ask me and it's got the military MWO directions with it. those are always gomer proof. :)
