Is this all I need? M1097A2

The M1097A2 UOC is BVY, not on that list.

    Delco 24v alternator bracket modification

The reference you posted is for industrial belts, not the same animal as automotive belts, IIRC the HMMWV takes a belt with a top width of 15/32

    Delco 24v alternator bracket modification

I think most if not all the aftermarket one wire 24V Delco alternators are simply converted 12v units, these run a high field current and eventually burn out the regulator leading to ether no charge or excessive charging.

    Delco 24v alternator bracket modification

I not sure what you mean by profile, I have never installed an aftermarket alternator in HMMWV nor would I, the 60A was a very poor alternator, I would and have converted to the 200A dual voltage alternator.

    Delco 24v alternator bracket modification

That is very common for 1 wire alternators, they put a small drain on the batteries all the time to have a small amount of field magnetism, it is sometimes not enough to self excite the alternator at idle, it also will drain the batteries over time so I no longer use them on my farm equipment, I...

    Delco 24v alternator bracket modification

It also looks like you have a pulley for belts that are much wider than the HMMWV uses.

Received 2002 M1097A2 for firetruck build - looking for advice

That procedure would be relevant for your truck also, the basic instrumentation is for the most part the same in all HMMWVs except for the later speedos.

Great catch!, the correct manuals are on the link I posted also.

Received 2002 M1097A2 for firetruck build - looking for advice

https://www.nsnlookup.com/equipment-intelligence/land/hmmwv There are no bad questions, the original study was with a basic truck that likely had a 60A alt, your truck should have a 200A dual voltage alt, It is actually best to use an inverter for the radios for example as the chance of...

Received 2002 M1097A2 for firetruck build - looking for advice

The HMMWV does not have the electronic injection pump, so no module to relocate. Depending on what your 12V needs are and if you have a dual voltage alternator (you should on that model) you may not need the 12V add on alt. There are also many 24v/12v converters that you can use. EDIT if you...

How To Repair HMMWV EESS S3

If it has done that then I would expect your glow plugs to be blown.

How To Repair HMMWV EESS S3

Have you actually measured the voltage? there is a thing called afterglow that keeps the glow plugs warm after the wait light goes out, the meter staying in the yellow means nothing. The "clunk" is normal that is the run solenoid dropping out.

m1114 hard steering to left only

May not work but worth a try. :) Hopefully others will have some ideas.

m1114 hard steering to left only

The valves are in the upper part of the housing where the shaft goes in, first I would work it to heat it up then I would take a small hammer and "tap" it while someone was trying to steer to the left just below where the hoses go in to try and free up the valve.

m1114 hard steering to left only

Bummer, sounds like a valve failure in the steering box and I believe that is the box that is next to impossible to find so a rebuild would be the likely choice. I would work with it some more to see if you can get that valve to unstick.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I love that top, dang shame Harris county did such a poor job stripping that truck and ruining all the harnesses as it really is a straight truck in great physical condition. So I just picked up another parts truck (2007 M1097R1 the disease continues :ROFLMAO: ) that has all the electronics I...
