The lmtv deuce actually comes in a box configuration I just saw a bunch run thru the auction yesterday.

Its my understanding that the lmtv deuce turns pretty tight and your m109 box should fit on the back of that. It would probably be more cost effective to use the newer truck than try to get 4 wheel steering to work on a 923.

If you have a heavy duty 24 volt system you can use a surepower 12-24 volt step up converter it can supply 24 volts at 40 amps off a 12 volt supply. I would think it draws 50 or so amps a full load to provide the 40 amps as long as your system can handle that you should be fine.
