Wanna see my super-low-cost/ high-efficiency "single hammer" impact wrench?
A 7 pound sledge hammer hitting the end of a 2 ft long, 1-3/4" x 5/8" bar, with a 1/2"-> 3/4" adapter socket welded to the other end...
This improvised and very simple "redneck"-style tool has seen service...
That is an old style seal, single lip + felt; completely encased construction; almost 3/4" wide.
I would replace it with a common double lip seal like the Timken/National #470067 or their encased variant #410067. See their catalog , page 44.
Picture & dims. of the OEM seal, below....

Ty, while your PTO is plugged, others have a speedo adapter hooked up there, for the engine speed governor.
What sticks up there (DW's first pic) seems to be a broken speedo cable, connected directly, w/o adapter.
To DeucesWild11:
That's absolutely correct!..... and a little hyd.oil mixed...
LOL.. there is a TM for almost everything in life... also for the P-136-C T-case PTO.
See TM 9-2520-246-34 & -34P
That would be easy to fix without removing the whole unit. Pull yoke, remove bearing/ seal retainer and replace oil seal.
Tomorrow I will post part#s and dimensions for that...
No.
It is the T-case that will sooner or later run low; since both housing's cavities are open and communicated to each other. Adding fluid to that plug (access to shift-fork set screw) is like adding it to the TC.

That's correct and I was going to say exactly that, in response to Tom's post #18.
Too many factors; too many different situations.... (even how dry or wet the palm of my hand was to create enough friction on the wheel....)
IMO, about the toughest test would be parking an M35...
The other day I didn't believe it when you said it was pieces of the bearing race...; but WOW, those in fact are! That T-case must have been "agonizing" for some time before exploding that bearing...
Actually that piece belongs to one of the 4 bearings marked as BL210Z, in the pic below...
M880 Pitman arm, mod. to fit PS-Box
Attached are some pics + dimensions from the original one, as it comes on the manual box -maybe this helps as well?
The splined hole size shown in the drawing would be for the larger power steering pitman shaft.
Whatever you find out there needs to have the...
The 2815's are specific for the Multifuel engines.
For everything else there are almost to many to choose from. I would start downloading the TM 9-2320-361-34 and 34P.
Also very good to have handy: TM 9-2520-246-34 and 34P, specifically covering the transmissions.

Prolly pieces of a bearing cage, not the race...? There is a total of 6 ball bearings on the input shaft. (see bearing numbers here)
Go for 1/32"... or just 518 Loctite alone, after well cleaning/checking both surfaces (use flat file). Gasket thickness is NOT critical since you have to readjust...
