5 Ton Beadlock Bolt Pattern for Adapter Plate

1st option would be kind of difficult to accomplish...., IMHO 2nd one is what many have done, so far. And it allows for a bit less backspace, too. Original bolt holes in both halves are relatively large so think about adding some kind of dowel pins to ensure all three parts stay perfectly...

5 Ton Beadlock Bolt Pattern for Adapter Plate

:ditto: I think the only 5ton 2pc wheels having 16 bolts are the HEMTT. They are equally spaced on a 16.44" (= 418mm) diameter. See drawing below, for all dimensions. G.

    M35A3 tire changing to 395/85/20 part 1

I think you meant to say 14.5s in the first sentence...? Glad to hear they were mounted on the correct wheels! I will say this one more time, for safety's sake....: running MPT tires on non-MPT industrial wheels (like the stock M35A2 has) is an absolute NO! ... even if you hear "yes, they...

    Yes. G.

What Torque value do you use for the front hub nuts

Its based on the quality of the nuts one can get.... :(, plus the fact that studs have seen use and abuse, in so many years, especially on older trucks. Better to use high nuts + loctite instead of lockwashers, IMHO. G.

What Torque value do you use for the front hub nuts

I always use new nuts, with plenty of loctite 242 on clean (!) studs and tighten to 35-38 ft-lb. G.

    Missing front spring set parts

For the stock set-up on the front axle you need these parts ("spring seat, lower leg", drawing below)..... For the rear you might be able to adapt some 3/4" plates but have to drill those two holes, accordingly. G.

need some help mounting my tires

You must have experience with many others but... have you ever mounted this exact size on this particular wheel....??? FYI, from your previous post: YES, they do...! It doesn't matter in this case; the rim is symmetrical.... Only if it were silicon grease...! Better use soapy water or much...

    M35A2 transmission problem

Tom: yes, I thought about that all but didn't want to discourage him any further... Knowing you I figured you would offer to lend a hand (or both!), given the relative short distance and specially having all the best ingredients right there! Joe: you are a lucky guy! You two, keep us posted...

    Steering help

Sorry I must strongly disagree.... and say again BOTH sides! (Think a minute... or do I have to explain...????) G. OOOPS, you were faster!

    Steering help

Just reinstall spindles and hubs but leave both complete axle shafts out. Or make that trip with both drive flanges removed. You don't have to disconnect the propeller shaft if you have the Air-shift TC. G.

    M35A2 transmission problem

At least the dogs on that input shaft really don't look that bad at all -after seeing the ones on the gear I expected these to be in much worse condition... You might know that in the TM 9-2520-246-34 one can find exact dimensions, tolerances and wear limits for every single part. Maybe you...

    M35A2 transmission problem

I've never seen a (5th)gear worn out like that...! Hate to say it - your first pics gave us a preview - the last series confirmed it: that tranny has seen terrible abuse and is not worth repairing IMHO. Find a takeout, remove top, look inside (you already learned where and how to check for wear...

    Deuce M35A3 Tires

    Yes, theoretically... From the tire specs given in the catalogs better use the revs-per-mile: 14.5R20 MPT80 = 490 365/80R20 MPT81 = 491 14.5R20 XL = 482 395/85R20 XZL = 446 395/85R20 XML = 448 15.5/80R20 XL = 448 Then with a simple rule of three: 50 mph x 491 / 448 = 54.8 mph ...

    Steering help

Engaging what??? If you could turn one wheel 90º before the other one AND/OR the prop.shaft started rotating something is wrong! If you didn't find anything bad outside, regarding brakes, bearings, U-joints then the problem must be INSIDE the diff. See if you can find anything other than a...
