i bet your hydro booster is bad, there is a small bleed off port that gets plugged and the pressure from the ps pump will actually apply the brakes as you are driving. Learned this on my civy truck.

GOT 2 TRUCKS FIRED UP AND DROVE THEM TODAY ! RAN GREAT. the rims are lug pilot which is correct for the 5-ton. Some tires have metric and others have standard sizing. When i get the other 2 running i will get them all out and check all the specifics you guys want.

the rods are not forged, im prety shure they are cast steel, i dont belive you will be able to get a good enough weld quality to be safe. im pretty decent at welding and did this same thing with the tubing and did not have satisfactory results.
