so yea, i was bored and messing around on craigslist and came across this HALE P250 pump. I couldnt find anything else to buy on cl so i decided why not? well now i have it and know nothing about it other than its for pumping water lol. I just wondered if anybody on here knew anything about them.

when ever i buy a truck i look at it as parts, "if something major happens what are the parts worth" By far the parts that go into making a 1008 are worth far more than a 1009.

so i have an update, i finaly got some time to get back out, wash the trucks and re spool the winch cables i used last week (i left them strung on the bumpers to dry the mud). well the one truck went just fine (as expected). The second........ well this is what happend. the best i can figure is...
by almost i mean the hole in the floor is in a lil difernt spot than the 4 speed....... early and late has to do w/ your bellhousing and slave cyl config. i will post pics aft work of the diferences. i dont know what hes talking about with the 6 holes?
this post looks like it has some good potential for some darwin awards, anybody have any carnage pics/ vid's from improper recovery methods? (no fatality stuff please) mabye some damaged trucks? broken chains? bent stuff?????2cents

im not here to argue, they all had good runs, i hate fords but i would buy a 7.3, i hate dodge, but i got a 2500 w/cummins. i love chevys but cant afford a D-max. lol
the nv4500 is a 5-speed manual trans with 1st being a "crawl" ratio and 5th being overdrive. they are VERY STRONG and will bolt right up to a 6.2 as long as you get one from a GM application (dodge used them in there HD trucks) I had one behind my 6.5 in my 1028 and loved it. the engine "felt"...
