3.5 kw may be 3.5 kw but he is right, the 24 volt system deliveres the energy faster than a 12 volt system but will only last half as long. Delivering the energy faster spins the starter/engine faster alowing it to start easier.
well congrats on the truck, im not to far from ya (lansing) so mabye some day we could meet. i plan on being at the general jims meet this summer. might i suggest checking out the MVPA of michigan too.
confused as to how that could ever be mistaken for an A3.............. headlights in the wrong spots, hood dosnt slant up twards the front like its all arogant with its nose up in the air, no stupid hydro tanks poorly protected behind the front bumper. so much prettier than an A3. price is high...
there is an alignment issue somewhere between the trans and engine, CLEAN the mating surface and make shure your alignment pins are instaled properly, not to far into the engine block. ballooning may be and issue also. one more thing to look at, when you unbolt the converter, can you push it...

yea, i tried that but using a Rail Road jack (much stronger than a HiLift) and the front of the deuce....... didnt work, so i tryed parking 2 deuce's nose to nose with an I beam going across and tried it, still didnt work. Lifted both trucks. used a Rail Road spike hammer and worked my way...
i may be wrong but i figured this would be a good thread to piggyback a question on, i had a D on my truck and switched to a C and belive i felt a noticable difference in low rpm power (an increase) but lost some top end, anyone else have this?
