I was told by several people that the windshield in the 74 K5 was a wee bit taller. I am not seeing it. I removed the windshield and measured the one I removed from Easter find M1008 and it was the same. Anyone know anything about that? I may be missing something. I was surprised at how nice the...
I had a date with a wire wheel for the past 6 hours. After a few days of wire wheeling needle blasting, sanding , and pressure washing it is all ready for paint. First a through wash down with wax and grease remover and then an acid pre-wash. I then top primed it with an industrial shop coat...
It may not matter. But I have NEVER checked the compression on any motor that is running fine and I have no issues with. Why would I? I Never checked the compression of any CUCV I owned. I have some that have over 200K on them and get the snot pounded out of them on a daily basis. They do not...
I must agree. Smart woman. Call me what you want but my days of sleeping out are over. A Man must have his limitations. I done my share of sleeping out and as long as I have a warm bed within 30 miles of the R/Creek. I will be there sleeping in the warm bed. Something about the comfort level of...

Personally I do not like the hubcaps, roll bar or the beacon lights. I want mine clean off the top from the A pillar back. I even have the original 74 K5 Blazer seat set. But Chief Brody's K5 is Bad Ash.
I have a few. I also made a few. It is an easy part to make if you have one to copy off of. It only adds support and it is much needed. I have been feeling generous lately. Send me a PM.
I had the opportunity to work on my M1008 frame. I pressure washed it and de-greased it and then I needle blasted it and wire wheeled the entire frame. I must hit a few more places and then give it an acid bath. I hope to have it in paint at the weeks end. I know I pointed this issue out before...
Those rims are the ones I was referring to to make my M0009 look good. Wait for it. Wait. Did you see it? It takes a good imagination. I see it crystal clear.
