Someone told me the diesel pickups had an issue with some kind of fuel tank lining coming unattached and plugging the pickup tube. My truck has a new tank, so maybe there is validity to the story. Something to keep in mind.
On the PMD, the diesel fuel running through the injection pump is...
That is one of the last of the GM 6.5s. Would have been a turbocharged engine found in 2500 and 3500 pickups. Have your machine shop go over it for cracks, if good, sure I would build it.
How is the Haldex N4400B plug and play??? There is a thread here somewhere that explains the magic needed to connect it. A dab of grease fixed my leaky brake controller.
CUCV2 is 6.5 turbocharged with electronic engine controls. Do you have check engine light, if so pull codes. Is your electric lift pump running, on mine you can hear it when you turn the key and wait to start.
I've done a bunch of steel wheel FMTV tire dismounts with the usual duck bill hammer. Easy peasy. Like Simp says, the nuts take forever. Can't even hold the impact socket it gets so hot after one wheel.
I don't think any GMC M135s were delivered with combat wheels, but what a cool upgrade!
I doubt you will ever find a set of 7 in one place. I have 6 and I got one here, two there etc.
Suggest pm the OP, he's looking to sell.

Porkchop is correct, early M34 wheels. Fits the 1950/51 Reo pattern deuce with the cargo bed with wheel wells. Post 'em for sale in the classifieds or pm me a price.
The two left breakers in your second picture are Federal Pacific and they are widely regarded as defective. They won't trip when needed to. Consider replacing them.
