    4 speed trans conversion

couldn't agree more on the TH400...they are one of the strongest trannys on the market. My trans guy told me this years ago....the 4L80E is good, but nothing like a TH400 on durability.

there aren't any..and please don't post a pic of the unit that no one has ever owned. Someone posted a pic in another thread. Never seen one in 30yrs of military service. If it was used, it would be in a TM, and there are none in any of the TM's...I like the look of no bumper, that is till you...

    HMMWV Hauler

An 84in wide trailer works just fine...it's a squeeze, but it fits....if it's a deck over even better. been hauling on my CH60 for 15yrs. It's not a deck over and is 84inches. Good tires is key to successful haul...

Auction date changes, MK48 and Hemtt recall

My unit had HEMMT fuelers back in the day, we couldn't drive them on calif roadways because they had no rollover protection for the fuel pods, I guess they would spill all there contents if tipped over. Eventually the state issued an exemption. as far as this current situation and the sky...

so...it's also a newer GEP motor with a lot more Useable HP and torque then the detuned 6.5. plus 4L80E...and they are 12k rotors, HS and geared hubs. Just look for the brake rotor protection. dead giveaway to 12k setup. You couldn't build that truck for 41k if you paid someone. look at the...

Any Plan B Customers on here?

At RWH restoration, We only do OEM work unless otherwise directed by the customer, and even then, a conversation is had about originality and keeping true to form. 4 speed trans conversion

Yes and yes....plus several other things. I find it funny how folks say it's just as easy as 1,2,3... the crossmember is not moved back, it's replaced. The 242 tcase mates to the 4L80E, your also going to need drive shafts too. To be fair...I don't do after market conversions....I do factory...

GL always charged sales tax, in state or out, at least in California, any company that maintains a brick and mortar business has to collect tax on items sold. Maybe it's a state thing.
