Got this e-mail today. Looks like GL is opening a new warehouse to try and consolidate alot of the smaller items to one spot.

I think you'll be fine with 4,500lbs. I know a m105 is only rated for 3,000lbs but I've had 3k in mine and the overloads weren't even touching. These trailers are way underrated. Just make sure your hitch you come up with can handle it.
When you say "winch anchors" are you talking about the piece that goes on a deuce winch to attach the chain to the wire rope? If so bring one to me if you have any extra and we will do some tradin .
Sounds like the begining of the "death wobble". Can't help you there. My brother has a m1008 that has the death wobble and we've been replacing parts and haven't stoped it yet.
Does it do it all the time or just after it's been sitting for some time? Old bias-ply tires will develop flat spots after sitting and it takes a few miles down the road for them to smooth out. I know all my trucks will shake if they've been sitting for several days but it will go away after a...
I would think you're going to need a trailer lower to the ground than anything the Military uses to load a houseboat on. The only Military flatbed trailers I know of that are 40' long are semi-trailers. Way too high for a boat trailer.
I'd say the cheapest route would be to find a couple of...
Update on the towbars- I haven't forgot about the people that PMed me about a towbar.
I'm working on a few right now but the guy that's cutting all my pieces had some trouble with his water-jet cutter and is running behind. As soon as I get some parts it won't take me long to weld them up and...
Checked out Maddawg's thread. What I was calling the outer seal is the one behind the axle nuts (the one that keeps the gear oil out of the bearings). I would call what Maddawg fixed the axle flange gasket.
I understand what you're talking about. I hope you didn't take my post the wrong way. I was just trying to shed some light on why you're having trouble finding them .
The problem you're running into is that all the bobbers are buying the springs and hangers and nobody wants to split them up. If somebody sold you the hangers the springs themselfs would be just about worthless without the hangers.
PTO winches are rated pretty close to accual line pull. Most electric winches use some sort of formula to rate their winches that takes into account for rolling loads ( which is wrong IMO). Bottom line is you can take a 12,000lb electric winch and a 8,000lb PTO winch will outpull it.
The sides are held to the headboard and tailgate with "T" bolts that fit in a slot.
The bed is made stronger on the sides of the flat part of the bed on a dropside bed. You may weaken your bed too much if you cut the sides off without beefing up the bed. It's going to take quite a bit of fab...
The problem he's going to run into is a multifuel is a diesel whatever fuel you run in it. Just because he runs gas in it doesn't make it a gas engine. A diesel is called a diesel because of combustion process (compression ignition) not by the kind of fuel it uses. The first diesel engine ran on...
Ferro, I've got another drivers door that is good other than some rust at the front corner (where they always rust). It could be fixed fairly easy. Shoot me a PM if interested.
No. The thread will cost you extra :-D. Ferro needs to chip in too.
I shot gimpy some good prices because I know he's cheap, I got the truck cheap, and he's been really good to me whenever I've needed anything.
