No. Most you run across will have a turbo. Even most of the original non-turbo trucks and some gassers have been converted to turbo by the military if they are recently released from the Gov. That and the fact that many more turbo trucks were produced through out their production run.
Nice setup :-D. It's been awhile since I've delt with a manual neck. We went to hyd years ago but the manual necks work fine if you know how to use them. They can be tricky untill you figure out how to block them and such (every truck and trailer is different).
The NHC250 has almost nothing in common with the 5.9. The injection system is completely different.
Only the newer high-hp 855cid engines had the oil squirters.
If you need the cyl packings there is a local hyd shop and the guy can get packings for any hyd cyl made. If you have trouble finding them you can send me the old packing and I can match them up for you.
Found it. Also some good pics on how to rig one up yourself if you can find a suitable motor.

There was a guy that posted awhile back that was wanting to get rid of a hyd motor off a M35A3 winch (same as M35A2 but uses a hyd motor to run the winch) I'll see if I can find it.
At the very least you're going to have to disconnect the brake. When you run the deuce winch in rev. you working aginst the brake and will build up heat and eventually fail. When you're trying to winch the brake will be trying to stop it. I don't know if you would have any other problems running...
Every dump truck I've ever seen the bed is controled by a valve. You engage the PTO to run the pump before you start dumping and use the valve to control up and down. If you push the clutch (even on trans PTO pumps) the bed will stop going up but it won't fall. All civilain dump trucks are...
I've got a 250 with a turbo on it. I'll take some pics and post it. I may consider parting this engine out.
Just about any Jake Brake for a Cummins will fit. If you find one on any 855cid Cummins will work. I don't think you can shut the hood with the Jake Brake installed without some hood...
But can I drive and dump at the same time. I'm thinking yes but I just want to make sure it won't screw something up in the t-case.
I'm also wondering where I'm going to mount my hyd tank. It has to be higher than the pump and if you drive the pump directly off the shaft It's going to be...
I'll get some pics and post them. What it has is a rod that goes from the lever going through the floorboard foward. Where the t-case shift lever is attached to the shift rod it has an extra long bolt that hangs out on one side. A notched plate slides over the long pin when the PTO is put into...
