Looking at the TOM, it appears the Spring brake has 2 Diaphrams correct, one side that is not under spring pressure and the other side that where the Cage bolts goes....I know thats the side not to mess with.....buit it appears the other side is quite east to replace once caged....any help...

Picked up a new M923A1, the Left Rear Rear Spring Brake Diaphram is leaking out air...I want to replace the Entire unit, Is this the Dual Chamber? I assume so but want to make sure. M998 starts but stalls out while slowing down

The pump in your truck is all mechanical, you are thinking of PMD failure or overheating of the PMD on the Hummers with the Electronic controlled Pump, pouring ice water on the PMD "Pump Mounted Driver" would cool it down. You could have a bad pump...but if all was fine before you did Filter...

M998 starts but stalls out while slowing down

You still have air in the system....start the truck, crack an injector line on the left side of the engine...only cuz it's the easiest to get too....also, pull the Injector pump drain back line on the top of the pump while running, quickly...or u will have a big mess. I have had this issue...

    Hydraulic Fan Clutch Replacement...

Is it not working? What I do is take the solenoid valve off the truck, blow it all out real good...I have seen them clogged. Also do the TDM. another issue is the clutch plates in the fan clutch plates get stuck...hence take it off and whack the crap out of the back side of it and use...

    Front Differential Mounting Question

No shimming is required at all....and yes, on each diff the brackets make one of the calipers hang a tad bit lower then the other...normal. What I do is put the diff in but leave the top bolts loose, then torque the 2 5/8 bolts that attach the diff at the rear, this way I know the Diff is where...

    Front Differential Mounting Question

Like I said, 3are the same, front left is different, look at the part numbers embossed on the bracket. i just installed diffs today in my build...I always end up using the old front left bracket as they are expensive and hard to find cheap NOS. that's al I can think of...

    Front Differential Mounting Question

Oh, also.....did you change out the yoke for new ones? The front left is the ONLY one that if different....the front right and both rear are the same part number....the front left is hard as heck to find and you cannot use anything but the correct front left...or it will sit higher like yours...

    Front Differential Mounting Question

I can't see in the pic if your caliper yokes are installed....also, the nuts you are using should be Grade C lock nuts and all grade 8 hardware....that's area gets alot of vibration what with the diff torque and braking. also make darn sure you use red thread locker on your bolts for the caliper...

    Hydraulic Fan Clutch Replacement...

They can only leak from 2 points...the fitting and the main seal...the seal, can be replaced without clutch removal. undo the small nut and remove the clutch cup, these can be a real,Pita the get off, but they do come off, then you have to find that size oring...I think I got one at napa. or off...

But I don't want a Unimog....the greatest military in the world doesn't use Mogs...I want the most iconic military vehicle in history probably equal to the MB/ GPW Jeep. M923 won't start

Problem Solved....Put in a Takeout PCB from another 9XX truck and fired right up....Pretty much what I suspected all along. I guess I should have gone with my gut instinct all along, that and the fact that all my TS revealed no issues anywhere else.

If you didn't bleed the ps its going to piss and moan....it's simple but can take time, its in the TM, I personally will fill, start, monitor level...turn steering wheel all the way hard left, hold and back the other way full right and hold....do this about 20 times. I have then just let the...
