T/C gear is orange 35 teeth for 2.56 diff's, red 36 teeth for 2.73, and red and 40 or more teeth for 3.08's.

Good ones Used take offs with nut assy. Diff. in a late to early surp pulley....gold is early.

Thats the later surp system pulley. Its the clutch type. I may have some.

Air filter gages don't have lights on Hmmwv's, but bigger trucks do.....I have a few available.

You also need a different X member, and T/C adapter. I civi T/C might not have the proper angle when bolted up, or may not fit a T/C adapter for one a military T/C 242. 218 does not have a slip yoke like both types of 242's which is a better way to go.

Nylon cordura is whats on most seats now. Awile back it was canvas.....old stinky canvas.

2.56 will only give you slightly less RPM's. They were in the early trucks. Hmmwv's had 2.56, 2.73, and 3.08.

Best upgrade would be a 4L80e overdrive trans./242 Transfer case.

I tested 2 ea. hmmwv type Tach's, and the one with the buss bar connection works with the tach drive on back of motor. The one with the round connector did not work with tach drive. It needs to be wired up to an alternator wire.

Feet hole pattern different and don't line up. The bar has 3 spacers welded on where the 3 attach points are. Just drill the holes and be done with it.
