Most people here that keep these trucks military use parts from all different year Hmmwv's, so none are purists. I did meet a guy once....Once, that wanted his truck as a 1985. As suggested before....Need a mod/hot rod section for the Hmmwv .

There are two different type 12k half shafts also....or 12 ton :shrugs: Vented and solid style.

Looks like a 6.5 na block, 6.2 water cross over thermostat housing, and an early surp system. Date code is on block below the right head on back.

There's a big bolt at the top that has some plastic shims in the hole...maybe they are bad or missing.

Hmmwv's and H1's already have a cooler built in.

If you change to a non standard offset with bigger tires....your going to have hub problems later.

The other 2 parts are the center [ forward to aft ] bar for the low extended rear soft roof.

You need serpentine belt system....leave the V belt system on that old 6.2 Standard A2 body harness uses same headlight harness. A2 Ecv harness park and B.O .lights take the 2 small harnesses Action was talking about. You need a turbo eng. harness...6.5 NA type won't work.

I might have a few, orange gears. You should replace your cable. 36 tooth are for 2.73 gear trucks.

Harbor freight has a tool for $ 54. Works fine and has different size die's. hydralic wire crimping tool.

I can get more made...same as the 2/3rd length ones below, or full length ones below. $ 400, and $ 500 a set plus shipping...steel, no holes drilled.
