    Front Mounted Tow Bar

OK, I didn't realize you where doing a "trial run" here for fit and finish. It should work fine.

    Soft top from scratch

This is looking like a serious cab top for sure ! I'm looking forward to the finished product !

What did you do to your deuce this week?

That a great looking tool box ! No need to have it sprayed or anything. Wish I could find one so nice.

    Front Mounted Tow Bar

I wouldn't use thin wall PVC pipe. If you can find some, a thin wall aluminum pipe would be OK. Or some thin wall steel pipe, but stay away from the PVC . The first time you go out and hit some serious bumps it will crack and break allowing your tow-bar to slide around. I went with a schedule 40...

Injector nozzles, 1 vs 2-hole which do i want?

What I should have said was a "better" burn of fuel by allowing it to slowly burn.

Injector nozzles, 1 vs 2-hole which do i want?

That reminds me of a TV show, though I cannot remember which one. "The answers are here" . I think it was a Sci-Fi show.

Injector nozzles, 1 vs 2-hole which do i want?

I remember reading that the smaller jet is the first to ignite and the larger jet's purpose is to fill the bowl with fuel which will slowly burn as the piston travels down. This allows the burning of more "unrefined" fuels and oils. Cannot find the article right now.

    M35a2 6x6

Yeah, few years ago there was a big discussion about oils. I eventually called Spicer who was bought out by "Tremec" . I was able to talk with an oil engineer for about half an hour. According to him most all manual transmissions are going to a 50W synthetic oil. It gives better lubrication and...

m35a2 rebuilt fuel injector pump help

I would be surprised if the mechanic actually rebuilt the whole pump. You need some special tools to do that. I had some made for me when I was rebuilding mine. He probably just tore it down enough to see all was working OK, then put it back together. Like you said though, the Hydraulic Head is...

    Front Mounted Tow Bar

I plan on making my bed into a camper someday so I needed another place to permanently mount it to. Though I did laugh at your last sentence !

    Guilty Pleasure

OK, maybe you guys are right. I just need to keep my paranoia under control. But like the saying goes "just because your paranoid doesn't mean that their not out to get you !" . I personally blame the Marines for making me paranoid. Maybe it's because of that tracking chip they put in my brain...

Injector nozzles, 1 vs 2-hole which do i want?

Well they do fit. Are they the best for the engine ? No.

    Front Mounted Tow Bar

Totally agree with that sentiment ! But like they say "better safe then sorry" . If I didn't have it, I would end up needing it. That's how "Murphy's Law" works right ?

    Guilty Pleasure

That is very true. I really love my new truck. Is it worth the $74,000 it cost ? I don't know, but so far it has been nice to drive. There is one thing I don't like though. They can track me anywhere I go with this truck. Even though I didn't subscribed to "OnStar" they still track you. That...

    Guilty Pleasure

I like that remote start too ! I can look out the window and see the crappy weather and then just hit the start button. Then the truck is all nice and warm when I go get in !

    Front Mounted Tow Bar

Do you mean why is it behind two bumpers ? I need to push vehicles around my place so I figured a double bumper with some push pads would be a good idea. Then since I had bought a WARN 18,000 military winch I thought it would be a good idea to put it behind the bumpers. It fit just fine there as...

    Front Mounted Tow Bar

Well I finished my front mounted tow bar. I copied the idea from "Quadjeeper" . At least I believe it was his idea. He used PVC pipe though. I went with galvanized schedule 40 steel pipe. It only dropped my front end 1/16" ! Now I can easily access my tow bar by myself.

    Uses for Deuces

Looks like you have a nice collection of sockets there Frank.

Brake problem - frozen anchor pins

Yes the "wax" method works, just make sure it is hot enough for the wax to flow all the way down the bolt (or anchor) .

    Uses for Deuces

Instead of "Pirates" I would have dressed them in "fatigues" and dummy rifles. That would have sent a few chills down some peoples backs !
