    preventable rear suspension failure

A well lubricated truck is a good thing. Just not lubricated with alcohol !

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Radios is the one thing I never got into, so I don't know what is needed for a operating system. It would be nice if one of the "Radio Nerds" (not meant as a slam) posted on what it would take to set-up and operate a military vehicle radio intercom system. Then if I knew what parts where needed...

Brake problem - frozen anchor pins

With "severe" rust issues you might need to up the game a bit and get a torch on them. Not a small butane torch, but an Oxy-Acetylene torch. Of course I once let an engine sit for three weeks with "penetrant" before it would finally turn. Don't know what your time frame is though.

    M35a2 White Smoke

Did you ever take the boost pump plug out and check for debris ? You checked the pressure relief valve I see. I agree that your injectors might be the problem though. At 60 PSI you should have more then enough fuel to make power.

Brake problem - frozen anchor pins

That guys test was interesting but not totally scientific. There was no way to determine the amount of "seizure" of each bolt. All that aside. I've been able to "unseize" stuck engines with different types of "release" agents. Be they "Blaster this" or "Blaster that" . The engines on themselves...

    M35a2 White Smoke

The release pressure is suppose to be 60 psi. So that bouncing around at 2400 RPM is really weird since it settles down to 60 psi again at 2600 RPM. I would take the plug off the boost pump and see if there is any debris in there.

    Soft top from scratch

I'm still asking around. When I find one I will send it on to "Bulldogger" . Hopefully he can make them up ! Your right Frank, I don't want to go on the Alaskan Adventure without good axle boots.

    remote control M35A2C hood

Pretty tricky idea ! The only problem I see is the cable getting in the way as you worked on the engine. Still very creative idea !

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I did that years ago now and love it. Up here as you know with all the rain, it is so easy to slip on the step and fender.

    Soft top from scratch

I know there is another thread about this, but it seems all the guys that can do commercial sewing are here so. Can anyone here sew up some deuce front axle boots out of "Cordura" or "Ballistic" Nylon ? If we could have that done that would solve a major vexing problem for all deuce owners. I've...

Brake problem - frozen anchor pins

Where can you buy Kroil oil for $80.00 a gallon ? I spent $20.00 just for that small spray can alone ! I would love to be able to buy a gallon for a decent price. Let me know OK ? Thanks.

    Temperature guage problem

Your deuce is running normal. They all operate that cold. That is why there is a radiator cover. The deuce's cooling is very efficient. To get the temperature up to 180 or higher you need 80 degree weather at least and running it good and hard. That is what I've found on mine. Now that I have...

    Sherpa winch vs PTO winch

So you've been working on the tug's too ! Don't they use that synthetic rope now? I remember watching "How it's Made" and all the tugs seemed to be using that Purple synthetic rope.
