goldneagle's M923 recovery and modification thread

I just wish brass fittings were not so expensive. I still need to spend almost $100 in brass parts and fittings for the bypass coolant filter setup. I don't like to use iron pipes and fitting due to too much rust generated. Here are pictures of what i want to add to the truck:

Thanks! I think the shut-off valve is good to have as a safety in case the line to the air-ride seat gets cut or breaks.

Steering Wheel and Seat Covers for Christmas :-)

My mechanic used an air impact to push the steering wheel off. Broke a bunch of stuff off the bottom of the old one but it was trash anyway! That was on my M923. Had to hold the shaft under the fender in order for him to install the new one. (otherwise we could nut catch the threads with the...

That's cool in the fact that you had a similar experience as i did driving the truck as a convertible in the rain! I am guessing that the tops are defective. The rest of the seams on mine are good, just the front strip that came off. They didn't glue it, just stitched it. If they did both the...

goldneagle's M923 recovery and modification thread

I was hoping for more feedback but I don't see much here. Am I wasting my time posting details of the work done on my MV? Am I full of hot air? Do I bloviate? Today was a lazy day for me. All I did was finally adjust the round convex mirror on the passenger side. (both convex mirrors...
