Now that I’ve had a chance to use them, I thought a review is in order.
I woke up the other morning hearing a strange ticking, it was very loud too. I looked out the front window and suddenly realized what it was- it was the Whelen PA/siren clicking through the speakers because the batteries on...
If there's a wrecking yard nearby, look at seats from a Jeep Liberty, 2002 and up. When I met my wife she was driving a 2003 and I noticed when sitting in the front seats that my knees broke-over well before my knee joint. In other words the seat isn't deep front to back, and is also narrow...
Wow, I just looked up the p/n for the NAPA rad I bought in 2017 - back then it was $305 before tax.
Same p/n now, out of stock no less, is displaying $1,705!
Have you gone into the NAPA and talked to them? Sometimes they can find things the online search doesn't.
At the risk of throwing this off topic, the 'news events around the nation' are exactly why i would carry if i were to go- because it would be absurd to believe that prohibiting live guns and ammo would prevent 'some mentally unstable killer' from killing.
Absurd because killing is already...
Be aware that is not a dash pad - it's a thin plastic overlay that you glue on top of your existing dash pad.
How bad is your current dash pad? Pictures?
A couple years ago we had some homeless encampments pop up about a mile away, and the apartments and homes nearby had a spike of thefts and vehicle break-ins. The threat was between 2am and 3:30am guys would roam the neighborhoods looking for open car/truck doors and root around inside. My...
Several years back I was commuting to the Bellevue area, and on my way back to the ferry terminal one evening I was in the left lane of I90 going with traffic, so about 65MPH. As I was approaching an onramp that feeds in from the left (idiot road designers) a car entering the freeway and the...
I think we're all forgetting something here....
Making the brick GO 75MPH is one part of the complete puzzle- it also needs to be stable and needs to be able to STOP from 75MPH without becoming a pile of smoke and grease. Any upgrades you do to the go-faster side of the coin need their...
Drove to work in the rain yesterday, which was much more sporty given the wiper blade isn't touching the glass in the middle which puts an unwiped streak at eye level... and it's dark out.
After work it was still raining, so went straight to the O'rielly auto parts store in town...
I'm usually disappointed by walmart wiper blades - they never seem to include the bayonet style connector. So I ordered from Rockuto and guess what, no connector.
Why do the simple things have to be so hard.
That's allegedly an old private investigator trick for fast getaways- the ignition cylinder turns without any key whatsoever. You don’t want to be fumbling with keys (especially chevy one-way keys) when an angry husband is only a few yard behind. Jump in and GO! And really, who is ever going to...
If you want it to work with your old everybody-has-one CUCV key the lock should come apart easy enough. Take the old one apart and keep track of the wafers and where they came from. Swap the wafers in the new lock around or leave one or two out; you should be able to make it work.
I can't tell from the picture, but if that's a two-sided key you can put two locks on a single key, one on each side. Insert key, doesn't work, flip it around and then it will work. I did that when I owned a Mustang and a Maverick- print the mustang key on one side and the maverick key on the...
