Even with a new air dryer with heated blow off I still check my tanks to make sure the air dryer is working correct. We are also checking the air for oil to see if the coalescing filter is doing it's job.
Snap-on has a good price tag so I got a set from HF. I all ready had the wheel nut socket in one inch drive that does both nut and thimble nut with it's square drive. I just use my 1" to 3/4'' adapter if I switch between the two drive tools. I think HF sells the correct wheel nuts socket that...
Anyone need a M37 fording exhaust pipe. Good shape $150.00. NOS 809 series PCB $75.00. NOS it is in a new star box but I do not know if it is a new star brand but 809 series new master cylinder $50.00. NOS springer seat top / frame work and both cushions last one $80.00.
They are boxed up from GL. I do not know if they fit 939 series. Thought some one said they did but do not quoit me. I am planning on coming up but things could change. If all goes to plan I will be in my white GMC 3500 or just ask if anyone has seen the trouble maker.
I could bring NOS Deuce / 5 ton drivers door complete with hardware / glass. $400.00. I have two NOS 939 series mufflers $100.00 a piece. Have NOS Deuce battery boxes $ 100.00 a piece.
Need maybe 4 New good shape Scepter water plastic cans.
You said your other tank did not have much air pressure. It has been a long time and my memory is not what it was. There is a one way check valve between the two tanks. When you get you governor fixed and can get your air pressure up to 110/ 120 check both tanks. The check valve was there to...
Stupid question you sure the brake can is fully caged? Myself if truck is ok then I air up the truck release dash brake button then install my cage bolt. Tight it just a tad bit more but do not over tighten. Then if need be pull parking brake dash button to keep truck from moving while working...
I do not know if the older Cummins is the same as my Detroit 60 with it's oil bypass filter. On the 60 my bypass is not like what we consider a true bypass these days. On the older 60 series it had two full flow oil filters and one bypass. Now from what I understand my bypass is only used if my...
Had another thought so bear with me is been years since I have been under a 816. The rear pump control lever rod goes up the passenger side up to the Hyd. pump. Then it keeps on going to and air valve and air line feed and the air line up to the air ram that is attached to the PT pump. If the...
Yea going to haunt you. Yep it will break off if the Head was installed off correct timing and you line up the mark with score / red line and try and remove it with force. It can all so break if the head was installed with the correct timing but someone did not line up the head mark / score just...
When I got mine it had 15/40 Diesel oil. Now Rotella T has close to 1220 ppm if I remember. Also I feel this is not best for use in the M37 and myself to heavy of an oil. I went with the Amsoil Z Rod 10w30 and it says it has 1400 ppm and it is synthetic. Just my .02
Well I find 5 tons road friendly with there real power steering. But a motor swap to a Cat or Cummins that had an easy power steering mount then install box and the little Deuce would be even more friendly. As a side not 5 ton rules in my .02!
Sounds like the aux. governor is still in gaged. Check your rear controls are disengaged and locked. There are two back by the rear winch. Drivers side is winch control and the one next to it is the Hyd. pump and aux governor. Both should be stored disengaged and little pins locking them down.
Yea if I used the push button brake when I used the crane sometimes I had to hit the brake peddle hard a couple of times to get the push button to release. We push the button only to set not release the brakes if I remember. You did bleed master then air pack then wheels right?
I find it easer just to raise or lower the correct jack to the right height to get the tire to walk off. Then place my jack stand if the truck will be up for some time. Then same thing when installing right height you can hook it on the top of the hub and raise the jack more and it will be held...
