Myself working with the bigger tires even 53's and two piece wheels all work is done with the tire standing up. Tire soap is you friend and can be use two ways. Mixing it with water to make a liquid spray or left as a solid soap. I just had a good inside tire come off the bead on the new...
I am by no means expert on getting big HP gains from the Cummins. I would believe 25 HP gains from duel fuel if all the other mods have been done and much bigger injectors. Got to feed those hungry puppy's at high RPM. looking at the Cummins 250 injectors with it's metering orifice and the small...
You do not need to remove the center bolt as it also could cause seating problems if you do. We do not need to bleed the injectors on a Deuce. If everything is done right best thing is to let the in tank pump run for a couple of minutes after you bleed the air at the bleed screw between...
Picked up another shop trailer as it was only $850 plus fees and it was close to home in Lake Butler Fl. Just a little house cleaning today and looking for left behind goodies.
For me holding up traffic is 0% when on the highway. On a two / three lane highway if you are not smart enough to look down the road and see you are gaining on a big camo tractor trailer you deserve to get stuck behind me. As for dragging 25 tons down the highway and the worry if someone else (...
Ok same question to me on the 915A2 4:56 gearing. Do I spend 6 k on the tandems or pay extra fuel cost. Now with my gearing pulling my 30 foot trailer I can still walk up good size hill at 55. The longest trip to a rally has been Fl. to the show in Denton park NC. at 500 miles one way. So here I...
As Will said keep it simple. New filters are in place and he bleed the air out and can get it running. We really do not need to check the bleed screw with a gage for the in tank pressure of 4 to 7 pounds with motor off. You can but when you open the bleed screw and it comes out under pressure...
Do not quoit me but If I remember six threads showing on the main fuel adjustment when the FDC was still hooked up. But now you have changed the smoke / droop screw it is any ones guess and it will be trial and error. I sent you a PM so just call me so my fingers do not get tired from a real...
Do not know if this is your problem. Ok when the FDC is hooked up and working the smoke and droop setting are set for only the emergency fuel listed for use. That way it keeps the fuel some what close to fuel / smoke droop limits. It does this because the servo wedge plate in the FDC is moving...
I like the beat thing what about drown the cavity with Ospho with it's phosphoric acid to help eat / convert the rust. They say Coca-Cola has phosphoric acid in it but it might make the truck gain weight and get fat with all the sugar.
Yep take your time and work on it like you love it. I have some people coming over to look at my M37 and I hope they bring cash. It is running real well and looking good but if I end up keeping it and motor goes out then. V8 automatic transmission and both axles changed out with power steering...
That is not the more costly Tiger brand. I measured mine and get 4 9/16" and 6 7/8'' on my tiger. So looks like it would work and with Amazon you can send it back. The install tool is not really needed but I have one.
Thanks yea I saw that thread. I googled and nothing for FMTV as for the video I wish he would have said where he got his / part number. Do not need to know how to take the tie rod off that would be the easy part. If no answer I will drop one side and measure like they show how in there video...
I need new boots anyone ordered from them and which ones did you order and were they the correct fit? https://www.energysuspensionparts.com/universal-dust-boots.asp#dustboots
Just throwing it out there. I did replace my Cat hard line with the aftermarket hydraulic hose and no problems so far. Thread is just to show that the fitting that threads into the block is adjustable. Would seem if you are changing or checking your hard line the alinement of both ends come into...
