Led light problem: low beam fades out

What brand of lights? I have all Truck-Lite LEDs (head, tail, turn and marker) on mine and haven't had any problems at all. Have heard about a flickering issue with some headlights. First Ive heard about fading.

    M116A2 Expedition Trailer Build

I feel your pain Did almost same thing last year, except in gravel, at a full run. After that you could actually see my kneecap. Yea it hurt. I looked those trailers up. Very cool. Thinking about a build also so will be following yours.

    M1008 1009 differentials

Tighten it up without trying to break it off and move on. I agree with fLU & CUCVRUS Ive never torqued a cover either. Also agree with DH that 35ft/lbs seems high.

    Valence's 1968 M101A1

Not just internals. Unbolt the entire backing plate from the Axle and bolt on a complete new brake assembly. You could ether go hydraulic or electric brakes just by whatever assembly you choose. Of course with electric you would also need new drums, etc. Sometimes its cheaper to do a new...

    Valence's 1968 M101A1

Dexter Axle makes complete backing plate brake kits for the hydraulic brakes. With or without parking brake. Not bad prices. They also make one that's called "free backing". You can backup a loaded trailer and not have the hydraulic brakes apply. On the regular hydraulic brakes you have to...

    Rear stabilizer leg installed....?'s

Trailer prepped and ready for an approaching ice storm a while back at a remote location. Luckily it wasn't needed. Anytime I have anything in trailer and not connected to the CUCV, the leg is down. Easy, fast, and no worries about tipping. Its free swinging for a reason. Yes it's normal

    Bought me a M923A2 Today!!!

Welcome! Truck looks good. Unless there's hidden problems, you did good on the price. I highly recommend replacing the alternator as soon as you can. The original ones are prone to failure and taking out other components with it. When mine fried, it took the Power Control Box and ABS...

    M101A2 shock replacement

Are the Monroe 32283's the same size physically as the originals? Is the NAPA shock bigger than original? Side by side pic would be great. I want a replacement shock as close to original performance as possible, not just cheaper. Local stores have to order so no bringing old shock in to...

    Valence's 1968 M101A1

That setup will get you a ticket in all states when it's noticed. And that trailer will draw attention. As mentioned, the chains need to be mounted to frame, etc for it to be legal. That's Federal DOT standard. Edit: Just read your above post. Glad to hear you will be doing chains properly...

Glad to hear it! Hopefully you checked and retorqued the flywheel bolts while you had it off. Others have found them loose and even some missing.
