    Turn signal issues

Sounds right goodbrewing. Do the brake lights work? As these trucks use the usual 1157 bulbs, the turn signal will flash the brake light. If brake and turn signals cause the marker (tail) lights to do funny things, for sure grounds are the culprit.

    Turn signal issues

How about the column switch itself? If the rest of the lights work, that means the 3 lever switch is fine.

    Strange electrical issue

The 9 volt battery is a goner. If you had high current draw, both batteries would be drawing down. Tell us about polarizing the generator, do you have a 25 amp generator?

    My M170

Confirmed then, you have a USMC Jeep. I think your M170 is one of the rarest vehicles ever posted about here on this website.

    My M170

I drew the conclusion that it is USMC based on the last technical manual illustration you loaded. That is a USMC Jeep. The rear "airlift" bumper fits over the stock bumper which is riveted in. I call it an airlift bumper, I don't think that was the term then. Only the late 1960's M38A1s had...

    My M170

Thanks for posting the pics! So really this is a USMC Jeep? Looks like you are missing the airlift? rear bumper, Surplus City used to have those kits. Believe it or not, somewhere, I have the voltmeter that goes in the dash. I removed it from a M170 a very long time ago. I wonder if I can...

    Transmission manuals

The 305MC was used in the M114 APC used throughout the 1960's and 70's.

    My M170

Great, when you get a chance, post up some pics of that mount and all the mounting holes for the radios. You have a very rare Jeep.

    My M170

Wow, 900 watts on SSB. Does the engine and water pump still have the 4-groove pulley? That's hard to find.

    My M170

Nice, was it always a radio Jeep?

I want to rig a PLGR to a Tough book and use a RAMS mount to create a moving map....

Not sure about the PLGR, but on the DAGR, there is a data cable available on ebay that connects to the RS232 port on the PC. Then use Google Earth, hit "tools" and "GPS", should receive the data and make continuous updates. Search "DAGR" on ebay and you will find the cable. It's not the power...

    M100 resto finally started

I think the USA W212... is something a previous MV collector stenciled on there. That is a WWII format.

My New Project - 1942 Ford GPW

Is the rear panel "F" script? If so, I wonder if a really good welder could weld it back in place. Cool how they used the rear seat retainer studs for the tailgate latch.

The 890 gets decent fuel economy compared to the 880s. Wish I had never sold mine.

    I need help v-100 ownership

The TXDMV places the minimum value at $4000. No safety inspection required here until you put it on the road with regular registration, none for antique/former military registration. No VIN inspection unless they request it for some reason. (they will ask for an inspection on non-17 digit...

    I need help v-100 ownership

Does NJ offer bonded titles? Here in TX that would be the process. The title lists mfgr, VIN, body style, color. No place to fill in "armored".
