Lighting looks nice. I agree with you! mounting them proud isn't good and in the way of the pintle isn't good either. I think you done good !
I do have a question for you: Is that reflective Red / Yellow vinyl on a magnet on the tailgate? Looks like a pretty good idea. It's there or it...
.
Good for you! When you get the heater core repaired or replaced - I suggest that the short length of hose and two hose clamps should be kept in the truck. Never know when you might need that again. Hopefully never...
.
If I was reading correctly, your plan is to put this one in the dirt too? I feel sure the environmental folks would have a long list of things to do.
Thinking that if it might roll under ground seems pretty unlikely since you have your own backhoe. Put it under the dirt in a tightly dug...

Seems like the shoulder of those bolts are a little longer than a similar bolt the same length.
Not certain about that - sitting here in the air conditioning enjoying it. ;-)

These books didn't appear to have anything about installation.
They did have information about moving a string of trucks from Point A to Point B according to the rules.
Seemed like good information to have.
Still looking around for paper installation instructions here in the pile of stuff...
.
Interesting... I did a quick search and came up empty in my personal stash and on the Web. Maybe there was a few sheets of paper that came with my light kit. I will go rummage in the next little bit.

I am guessing that you found a good source to buy from?
Standard insulation. Seems to be factory insulated with some sort of foam that is possibly poured between the inside and outside walls. I am with you. 110v is the way to go when possible for being functional in more places. Any idea...
So if a PRESSURE TEST is in your future, go to one of the local parts houses and rent a tester from them.
Cheap like spraying soapy water on the exhaust. Not being pushy - but have you looked into that idea?
We can dream up expensive things to do... Just hoping to save you a dollar where...

I like it! A Lot!!
And quiet is good. That way when you sneak off across the hill and wait - you can here them walking through the leaves. I almost wonder it that wouldn't be a better plan for my shelter than the rooftop that I have now.
'Course I haven't hooked up anything else...

How badly is the rubber "oozing" out between the pieces of metal that create it? Could be that it is fine. Look at it closely for cracks in the rubber. That is the sign of death. ON THE OTHER HAND, at 30 years old - it could just be time. If the balancer separates, it is over.

Maybe it will take less time to cut the grass now... Hopefully it will be faster to roar around the yard in a straight line rather than having to cut around the truck. Happy to hear that you got the paperwork finished!
.
I particularly like your comment "what any loving owner would do" about adding a new vehicle to the collection...
Thinking that maybe I need duplicates of mine as well.
Nice looking trucks DeetFreek !
.
CHEAP easy way to look for exhaust leaks... Low Effort Required - Much easier than all the other stuff you have done!
Get yourself a spray bottle. Ladies hairspray, 409, Whatever.
Get the water good and hot and fill the bottle 3/4 or so full.
Get some good soap. Dawn or something like...

I need a fishing pole!
Anyhow, here I go fishing again. The way the military gauges are in the vehicles I have, 5° is no big deal. The better question is how about the thermostat? Is it a 180° piece of metal down there in the water neck? Those parts get old and sometimes need to be...

That's great news Todd!
Glad to hear that the "stuck" clutch was its only problem. At least now if it happens again, you know what to do and that it is no stress to fix. With a little careful observation - you might see that it was a particular rain storm, or a long patch of really humid...
