Nah, not old. Experienced is more like it. And those occasional pauses that we do are planned too!
They give us "thinkin time" . ;-) I have heard that getting old is for sissies. Don't think we are there yet.

Interesting...
Not sure if I have the new RapCo paint or old. Color looks the same so that makes me pretty happy. Maybe I have an intermediate version of their product. The case that I most recently purchased has one extra nozzle with every can inside the little white snap cap. The first...

I like it! Really nice deckplate for dancing - or - cleaning the windows and marker lights :)
Especially depending on who you talk to.
Question for you: Looking at it with the "wrecker eye", are those shackles at the same spacing as they were on the frame? And is the steel around it (the...

HDN , It really is odd how things work.
The book doesn't have that "how much thread is showing" value in the there anywhere.
A lot of how we all do things and the things we do are based on past experience.
Sometimes that experience can sure make you tired.
Sometimes more in the head...

Well... There is something to be said for installed and running . Not cheap, but not having a heart attack when you get so pissed that the transmission you bought and installed didn't work could be really costly. Then that first good take out had to be removed - so another good take out can...

I have owned several civilian vehicles over the past 45 years of my driving lifetime - and none of them have had shoes to stick to drums or clutch disks to flywheels.
On the other hand, I have several military trucks that get their shoes stuck to the drums. Air brakes in particular...

Yes!!
I knew that list was around here somewhere.
I printed myself a paper copy and started gathering a few months back - and just couldn't find it posted.
Thanks for hunting it down coachgeo !!

Thanks Andrew.
I have poked around and not found the magic so far. I was sure I had some sort of TM but nothing yet.
I sent a message to one of our guys who seems to be a wizard with TM's.
Maybe he can help get more and better info.

Echoing @NDT 's Welcome to the Site!
Happy to have you here as a member. Be sure to take pictures of what you have and post them up for the rest of us. Don't worry if it needs paint or body work. Heck, but 5-Ton looked like a bucket of rust when I got it... I've been steadily making...

Will definitely be interesting to see what happens with the other 4.
The sad part is if the clicking disappears, you have to put those four back in - one by one to find the problem.
Fuel turned up shouldn't be causing the clicking sound you hear...
.
Yeah! That might be more fun!
Depends on how big the platform is...
Might have to install an exercise pole too...
And then we both go to cuomo jail :-(
.
That big green thing in the picture is a vice. But a fun one for sure!
Sure would be nice to have a hinged door thick enough to protect your radiator if something goes wrong. And it if was a nice flat no-skid surface, being able to clean the cab windows - or swap out light bulbs is another...

There are two filters on the Cummins NHC250. One in the fuel injection pump filter (small, wire based) and One is a canister type.
There is also a screw-on filter adapter that makes the filter act like your car oil filter would be.
Maybe yours is different... Snap a picture maybe?
