Don't know about on these trucks, but back in Vietnam, the gun trucks had the yellow nose on the 5-Ton's. The 8th Group, 523rd Transportation Company used that yellow paint and yellow headlights too. Esprit De Corps was part of it. Identification from a distance or when being helped by a...

Really nice looking rig! Looks like the little people were having fun helping too.
Makes it more exciting for them when they helped work on a project with dad.
They grow up quickly, then eventually they spread their wings and go become productive
members of society. And the really good...

Free is definitely good!
Mine is very similar. Came on a GoCart that I got for my boys about 20 or more years ago. It sat for a long time and about a month ago I shot it with Marvel Mystery Oil and let it sit for a week. Went back out again and shot it with more MMO, put the plug back and...

Exactly!
Good expression for that is:
Oats already passed through the horse once are generally less for a reason.
Similar to the DOT stamped and approved load binders and chains that keep your stuff from falling off your trailer - when compared to the chinese imports. There is very little...

Well Congratulations!!
Nothing quite like finally having what you have been looking for.
Toys R Us for Sure!
There are quite a few guys here with a lot more experience than I, so about the best I can say is Dang Right!! Seeing that you have a fist full of messages and likes - you must...
.
Odd how that works.
I find more often than not that whenever there is aggravation or trouble - and there is money involved - the government is involved in there somewhere too.
A lot like this WooFlu mess that just keeps coming back for more...

It took me forever to get the lift parts for a 5-Ton on the stinger boom under the M1089. Took a bit of digging to find the Grove Crane outrigger pads too, but that finally happened. Those parts were almost what a lot of the guys call "Unobtanium" around here. I can only imagine what it...

So, is the NTC-400 a bolt in replacement for the NTC-250 ?
While gathering info, I found a place called NPDDiesel.com and they sell re-manufactured power. Cummins and CAT. The NHC-250 was surprisingly reasonable compared to a "good takeout". Of course there is a range and I haven't taken...
.
It must be perfect according to the price they sell for on the secondary market.
You know though, the ability for all of us to do whatever the heck we want to do - add features, remove them, upgrade or downgrade... All of that is what we can do to those things we bought and paid for...

Had another thought... You mentioned a concert. Two weeks ago I went on a train trip. Never gave it a thought - but looking back at it, through 2 states riding in something akin to a petri dish and I haven't had a sniffle. Thank goodness, and I imagine the same for you.
.
I think you are more than likely right. Everything gets immediately diagnosed as the WooFlu. Several folks here have always had pretty bad allergies. You know, when the trucks and cars have yellow / green dust covering them... They had a hard time breathing, but as expected it was nothing...
.
It would be really interesting to see what the other folks have to say. The only drawback is that if you didn't have a set of old shoes - you would have to remove what you have - then clean and box, ship and wait for the return parts. That might get expensive from 3000 miles away.
And is...

She looks tough just sitting there for the next adventure.
Just about sunrise... Waiting patiently :)
It will be interesting to see how your camo netting looks on top of the canvas. I have seen plenty done that way for display, but roaring down the road - I am curious what you will tie it...
.
Good deal!
Hoping your truck never has to hang on a hook - but I figured it was worth asking.
The other thing I chewed on yesterday was that I don't think I have seen any MV's hauled with the rear axle in the air. Definitely understand why tandems or tri-axles aren't but what about it...
.
Sad to see that that report says that 700 vehicles were abandoned in JUNE. Armored. Weapon Systems too.
That was a month before this latest fiasco.
Seems that if we already knew the Afghan Security Forces were backing out - A FULL MONTH AGO - why (words deleted) did we not roll them all...
.
I got one of those given to me and thought it was a waste of time. Figured I should at least try it though... Turns out you do have a little better control with the handle on the can - like a real paint gun. Mine didn't have a special nozzle though. Just a can holder. You supply the can...
.
Bummer... I guess mine are the old style too.
I also notice that the old can says Net Weight of 11 ounces on the old and 12 ounces on the new.
Wonder why the one ounce difference? Don't quite imagine it would be more paint in the new can.
I have saved all those extra nozzles and it is...
