It's nice to see the basic transmitters and receivers sitting on a shelf, but what is really impressive is when someone takes the time to assemble the entire radio set, including the enclosures such as HO-17, S-89, S-318, etc.
I would say if you are hauling something like grain or cattle, you better have a good story. I use my FMV to pick up surplus all the time, and have been pulled over by TXDPS doing so, and was told to be safe and have a nice day, after careful checks of all my paperwork.
My policy for my daily drivers did not increase with the CDL. If you are driving over something over 26,000 GVW and plainly non-commercial, all the regulations associated with CMVs do not apply. Hence, the physical, log books, and so forth are not needed. You do not have to present a medical...
If there is an eroded path, then a new headgasket will not last long. The only quick fix that has a prayer is J B Weld. Clean the surface and apply, then grind it flat to the surrounding surfaces.
Welcome to the site. You can try using the "2013 Vin thread" to find your unit assignment from the serial number (vin) on the main data plate, but I can predict that your truck is too old to be in that database. Keep sanding on the hood sides for your Army registration number, and the bumper...
Any of you get in on the action on this bad boy this afternoon? Did not sell due to not meeting reserve. Bids were up to $16,125. Without engines, this boat would have been a bottomless money pit even if Uncle Sugar would have let it go. It is supposed to be fitted with a pair of POS Jap...
1965 called. They want their M151 back.

6TMF's can only be relied upon for 2 years. I know others will chime in that they get 6+ years from them, but that is not my luck. Once they are sulfated, you can hot charge them for days and they still will not come back. So I have found, your results may vary. I have switched to 31's.
Yup they will do that when it gets hot. Try a rubber fuel line from the pump to the carb, routed well away from the manifolds. Looks like crap I know, but helps with this issue.
It is the same as deuce. Your pic shows the bolts still in place on the compressor pulley. Loosen those, and apply some penetrating lube, and use whatever wrenches and unscrew the outer part of the pulley.
