It's just a crane and it picks things up and puts them down where you want it too. Military only ordered 179 of them. Not very good in ruff terrain as it does not have lockers and once the weight goes to one side your done. Does have both axle drive and rear steer plus a horn that goes beep beep.

Post #45 I took that as anyone who disagreed with you. Not trying to pick a fight again just saying opinions are always welcome attitude is left at the door.
I don't think posting your opinion sets some off only when you go calling names like all you blow hards listen to me.
We share we learn then as it is always said it's your truck do what you think is best and safe.
I would be willing to bet most here have not spent 500/ 600 bucks for the torque...
I know on my 920 and 915A1 that big radiator kept things cool and if I remember both ran cold. Takes a lot of heavy pulling to heat things up as I could even flat tow a 5 ton 817 and still not heat the 920 up.
The only problem I see is you will use a lot of any fluid that you try and change out yourself. I believe the Allison shop has a machine that can change out all the fluid without mixing it. The problem is the torque converter and cooler lines. Seems like reading the people that try do a dump and...
I have had and still have trucks with engine oil and I am not worried about it. When my transmission needs rebuilding if ever then I will switch out but not use Transynd as my truck will never see great high mileage. Transynd is a great product and good for Allison's that see lots of miles and...

I can make this a lot easer since you are the one buying everything I am bring up there. How bout you just buy everything I own and I will go to Belize.
I love Ospho and would spray it like crazy but I don't know how it would do with epoxy resins. I would think it would not be a problem as long as it has dried and no wet spots. Places like Home D once sold two part epoxy resins in pint size cans and slow drying. I like it better than polyester...
Wonder if taking an injector loose is the best thing. If the fitting on the end does not spin like it is designed to do it could damage it and require a replacement. As Chris said it is very easy to tell if and injector is not popping the same as others as they have a distinctive sound when...
I thought I use to be a expert but now I can remember what I had for dinner last night. At least I can hide my own Easter eggs and have still have fun finding them.
I do not like bondo for patching holes. I would use epoxy and maybe fiberglass on the inside patch and if you mix epoxy with the correct filler to make a paste you smooth out the roof dimple then white roof cote the whole roof.
Yea Chris I had to pull out all the fiber glass in one of my...
I wonder if the reason the secondary and final are after the booster pump would be it is easer to push than to pull through the last two.
Myself I would do spin on in the same place as the secondary and final then a water trap / 10 micron filter before the booster in place of the primary. Also...
