Need new dashpad. Which brand has held up best?

Good point! I ordered a dash pad also to help with dust and UV, but also as a "cushion" for the rifle. I drive around the ranch slow so it doesn't have a chance to really bang around a lot, if at all. Rifle comes off when i get on the road. New dash and dash pad should be here late next...

    Odd engine behavior

135hp? Both mine say 155hp on the air cleaner. Bone stock each one. Everything I've read on IP's tells me enough to leave it alone. I'm not educated enough on them to open it up. That's me Call a service center for the pump and see IF they will help troubleshoot over the phone. Tell them...

Combat Jump Bed Mount Farm Jack Bracket

Where that's mounted, paint jack to match truck and it would be very hard to see unless someone's looking for something to steal. Really nice job!

Never mention CUCV to a parts counter person. You will get the blank stare and totally confuse them.

Need new dashpad. Which brand has held up best?

I do plan on a dash cover for sure. I use the rifle mounts on both sides everyday. My M1A NM will not fit in there so I keep it on the dash. It's not a light rifle which is why I want a good pad. I know the new one can still crack but it should hold up. Especially with a dash cover on it.

Need new dashpad. Which brand has held up best?

Going with the USA1 brand. They will dye it to the original color. Hopefully it will hold up. Time will tell. Thanks to all who replied.

    Where to find a M923?

I didn't say there weren't problems at RR. Just relating that both mine were great. I also said you USUALLY get what you pay for. To get back on track for the OP's original question. Only he can decide which route to take. I think he has some info to chew on for a while.

    Where to find a M923?

True to a point Both mine were freshly done and they did a great job. They weren't cheap But I have heard the stories about some of the RR builds. No issues and have driven my 925 over 3500 miles since I got it from GL. The 923 has almost that much. Other than some batteries in the...
